about "User-friendliness" these days. While
some had succeed in making the front of
house POS
easy to use;
what about the back end system? How long
does it take, for example, to set up a new
combo meal? Don't be surprised if the answer
is 6 to 7 hours of intense
work by a team of expert IT support.
Some had gone
even further - the process is so awkward and
complicated that they completely remove menu
setup function from the end-user! Need a new
product for tomorrow? You'll need to ask the
developer to do it for you - fax the detail
over and wait up to a week. (Amazingly,
menu setup service is touted a "customer
service".)
